Job DescriptionAccel Therapies is looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to join our team.
The Billing Specialist will interface with clinical and operations teams to manage billing and insurance activities for our ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) practice.
ResponsibilitiesThe Billing Specialist will be responsible for full cycle billing and revenue cycle management activities, including:
Submitting authorizations Reviewing and submitting claims Collecting patient responsibility Posting ERAs in our practice management software Tracking receivables and following up on unpaid claims Managing contracting and credentialing activities Addressing PDR/demographic updates from contracted funding sources Updating the clinical and administrative teams about changing insurance requirements Compiling utilization reports The ideal candidate has billing experience, a curious mind, and is highly organized.
This individual will report to the director of operations, will interface with several departments, and should have good people skill in addition to technical skills.
