Summary:
As an Enroller/Front Office, you will be responsible for providing individuals and families information about health care coverage, financial review for qualifications, assist patients in registering into qualifying health insurance/ programs, and ensuring a successful initial sign up and yearly renewals.
You will also be maintaining daily eligibility for enrolled and non-enrolled patients within our clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities (After completion of job training) 1.
Perform financial screening and familiarize the healthcare options to qualify and navigate patients to the appropriate programs (Medi-Cal, SFS, FPACT, EWC, PE, CHDP, Covered California, Etc.
).

Verify eligibility for scheduled appointments, update, and upload eligibility onto the EMR system.
3.
Assist with discrepancies for assigned and non-assigned members.
4.
Intake/update patient demographics, scan and upload patient's insurance card, ID, proof of address and income.
5.
Work closely with our CPSP department to register or add newborns to the parent's health insurance or assist with Medi-Cal enrollments.
6.
Meet with patients at your assigned location to explain the programs available to them.
7.
Confirm eligibility benefits and terms of coverage with their current health insurance.
8.
Meet with patients and assist them with their health plans benefits and financial responsibility (co - payments, deductibles, share-of-cost, out-of-pocket, Etc.
).
9.
Follow up on all pending applications to ensure a successful outcome.
10.
Assist patients with adding or transferring their primary care physician, health plan, or IPA.
11.
Schedule, answer calls, fax, scan, and upload documents.
12.
Attend and complete all required training and participate in ongoing conference calls, webinars, meetings, and other professional development opportunities.
13.
Must be able to travel to Central City's Facilities.
14.
Share outreach materials to patients, community members, partner organizations, and businesses to promote CCCHC services.
15.
Must be able to maintain a reliable attendance record.
16.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly productivity reports.
17.
Must demonstrate a positive demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills, and be professional in both appearance and approach.
18.
Other related duties as assigned that support Central City's goals and objectives.
Education and Experience Requirements Qualifications 19.
Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese) would be preferred.
20.
Must be able to maintain and obtain required certifications.
21.
Responsible to attend and complete required training.
22.
Effective communication skills.
23.
High School Diploma or GED.
24.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance (required).
25.
Occasional nights /weekends.
26.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
27.
Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
28.
Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Outlook, Word, Excel (preferred).

Able to travel when necessary.
