Liberty Healthcare operates two community crisis homes in La Puente.
Each is home for four people who have behavioral challenges as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Opportunities are now available with our professional staff to directly serve and support our residents.
Day to day work will focus on assisting residents with activities of daily living, facilitating various pro-social activities, monitoring and implementing behavior plans, and helping ensure our homes are safe for both residents and staff.
Full-time schedules are available for evening / overnight shifts.
Some weekend work is required.
You qualify for this position if you have at least six months of professional experience providing direct care and behavioral support to people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
You must also be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and have auto insurance - as you will need to transport clients in a company vehicle periodically.
Registered Behavioral Technicians, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Licensed Psychiatric Technicians, Qualified Behavior Modification Professionals, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and individuals possessing an Adult Residential Facility certificate are strongly encouraged to apply.
If you don't possess one of these professional licenses or certifications, Liberty will provide you with guidance applying and testing for theRegistered Behavioral Technician certification, which will be required within 60 days of employment.
