Liberty has recently opened two Community Crisis Homes in La Puente.
Each home serves four adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as significant behavioral health challenges.
To support clients of these homes,Liberty is now hiring for multiple full-time 'Behavioral Support Professional' positions which will be responsible for:
Providing direct care to clientsObserving clients' conditions and behaviorsAssisting clients with their activities of daily livingRapidly responding to individual client needsProactively addressing problems, concerns and issuesAssisting clients with their medicationsTransporting clients in a company vehicleHelping to implement behavioral interventions under the direction of clinical professionalsAvailable work schedule options are across the following three shifts:
1stshift from 6am to 2pm2ndshift from 2pm to 10pm3rdshift from 10pm to 6amThese work schedules all include the mandatory requirement for weekend & holiday coverage.
All applicants must be willing and able to work weekends & holidays.
These positions offer a starting rate of $17 per hour.
Higher hourly rates may be offered to individuals who have certain relevant professional credentials and/or experience.

You qualify for this position if you have at least six months of professional experience providing direct care and behavioral support to people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
You must also be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and have auto insurance - as you will need to transport clients in a company vehicle periodically.
Licensed Vocational Nurses, Licensed Psychiatric Technicians and Registered Behavioral Technicians are strongly encouraged to apply for this position.
If you do not hold one of these professional credentials, Liberty will provide you with guidance applying and testing for theRegistered Behavioral Technician certification, which will be required within your first year of employment.
Other on the job training will also be provided, so you may more effectively serve our clients and grow your professional skillset.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
